Processed securely — auto-deleted within 1 hour
Scanned PDFs are just photographs of paper — you can't search them, select text, or copy a paragraph. OCR fixes that by recognizing the characters in each scan and adding an invisible text layer underneath, so the document looks identical but behaves like a real PDF.
Recognition supports English, German, French, Spanish, and Hindi, and pages that already contain text pass through untouched. Files are encrypted in transit and deleted within an hour.
How it works

Frequently asked questions
Will OCR change how my document looks?
No. The scanned image stays exactly as it is — OCR adds an invisible text layer underneath it, which is what makes search and text selection work.
Which languages are supported?
English, German, French, Spanish, and Hindi. Pick the document's main language for best accuracy.
How accurate is the recognition?
On clean 300-dpi scans, typically 95%+ for printed text. Accuracy drops with blurry scans, handwriting, or heavy background noise.
What if my PDF already has some real text?
Pages that already contain a text layer are passed through unmodified — only image-only pages get OCR'd, so running the tool is always safe.
