Files never leave your device
Add clean page numbers to any PDF. Pick the corner or center of the bottom edge, start counting from any number (useful when the cover page shouldn't be “1”), and choose plain numbers or a “3 of 12” style.
Numbering runs locally in your browser with no upload, and the output downloads immediately — no accounts, no watermarks in exchange.
How it works
- 1Select or drag in your files
- 2Choose your options and click “Page numbers”
- 3Download the result — everything ran in your browser
Frequently asked questions
Can I start numbering from a number other than 1?
Yes. Set “Start at” to any value — handy when your document continues from another file or the title page shouldn't count.
Can the numbers show the total page count?
Yes. Choose the “1 of N” format to render numbers like “4 of 20” on every page.
Where can the numbers be placed?
Bottom-left, bottom-center, or bottom-right of every page — pick whichever matches your document's layout.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Your file is processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript — it is never uploaded to a server, so nothing can be stored, leaked, or read by anyone else.
